Finistère: Firefighters have a vehicle stolen

At around 4.20 am on Sunday morning, a Brest fire brigade vehicle was stolen whilst on an call-out. It is believed that an individual took advantage of the fact that there were no crew members around the vehicle – with the ignition keys left in it – to make off with it. The other firefighters at the station quickly recovered the vehicle a few streets away, but not the thief, who crashed into a parked car whilst fleeing. The police have launched an investigation.
