Gard: Three new fire stations within three years

On the morning of Monday 20 March, the SDIS 30 and the Gard department signed an agreement concerning the creation of three new fire stations to be located in Nîmes and Alès. The Pont-Saint-Esprit fire station, meanwhile, will be completely refurbished. According to a report by France Bleu Gard Lozère, the Gard department is contributing 42 million euros to the SDIS budget, with the remainder being provided by the local councils.
