It is a French invention developed by two students at the Institut supérieur de l’aéronautique et de l’espace. It is a drone with a cross-shaped, inflatable and water-resistant structure. Another of its advantages is its compactness; whilst it has a wingspan of one metre when deployed, it measures just twenty centimetres or so when folded away. With a flight time of around thirty minutes, it has the unique feature of being able to be deployed quickly, easily and by just one person.

Consequently, this invention has attracted the attention of special forces, and in particular the marine commandos, for carrying out close-range reconnaissance missions.
