A volunteer firefighter is travelling across France to raise awareness of cystic fibrosis

This is the challenge set by this 29-year-old volunteer firefighter from the Allier department, who has cystic fibrosis. He has decided to cycle from the Giens Peninsula near Hyères in the Var (83) to Calais (62) – a journey of nearly 1,200 km. Brian has cystic fibrosis, but that hasn’t stopped him from giving up; he is also inviting all firefighters across France to support his cause and welcome him into their fire stations. As the founder of his charity, he hopes to raise funds for research into this terrible disease, as well as to finance sporting projects for people living with cystic fibrosis.
