Orléans (45): a short film prompts police intervention

On Monday morning, in the city centre of Orléans, passers-by who spotted a man carrying a weapon and wearing a motorbike helmet as he entered a bar decided to alert the police. Upon their arrival, the officers did not hesitate to draw their service weapons and aim them at the robbers – except that this scene was actually part of a short film. In fact, it was a team of students from the Centre Dramatique National d’Orléans who had failed to notify the authorities about this part of the short film; the weapon was therefore a prop. It was a real scare for the students, as the police officers’ weapons were very real. Let’s hope the police are invited to the screening.
