Réunion (974): a gendarmerie motorcyclist injured at a roundabout

It was this Monday that a gendarmerie motorcyclist, who was on patrol at the time, was knocked down at the ‘Rond-point des Plaines’ roundabout in Saint-Benoit. It appears to have been an accident, as the driver changed direction without seeing the gendarme; it was therefore not a deliberate act. The motorcyclist, who fell from his bike, is reported to have suffered no fractures, only grazes to his face. The Secours Info team wishes the gendarme a speedy recovery.
