Cissac (33)

A fire has been reported in the commune of Cissac (33). Update 22 April: 08:30 The fire is now under control; it is reported to have spread across nearly 1,100 hectares!   UPDATE at 10:50: The fire has been contained but is not yet completely extinguished. According to official sources, 900 hectares have been burnt; nearly 300 firefighters and four Canadair aircraft have been mobilised. Two fire engines have been burnt out and one firefighter has been injured. Since 2.10 pm yesterday, a fire has been burning near a business park in Cissac-Médoc, on Chemin de Beauchêne, not far from Lesparre-Médoc. For your safety, please avoid the area.
