Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone (34)

A bush fire broke out near the railway lines, near the village of Villeneuve-les-Maguelone, in the Hérault department. According to our information, a crane operator who was carrying out work at a private residence, on the edge of the RD 185, is believed to have caused a tree to fall before the fuel tank of his machine caught fire. The fire spread towards the railway lines, forcing a temporary and indefinite suspension of train services. The area affected is not yet known.
