In the early afternoon of Wednesday 31 May, a road accident took place on the road from Arles to Nîmes.
This accident involved a motorcyclist from the gendarmerie who was struck by a vehicle whilst on his way to an incident.
Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene to cordon off the accident site and then attend to the victims.
The motorcyclist is reported to have suffered a shoulder injury and neck pain. He was taken to Nîmes University Hospital.
