CAP TAILLAT (83)

Fire reported at Cap Taillat! Update at 2.25 pm: the fire is located precisely within the municipality of Ramatuelle, in the valley of the La Quessine neighbourhood, near L’Escalet, below Volterra Castle. At 2.00 pm, the fire had spread over more than 5,000 square metres. Nearly 80 firefighters from fire stations across the department have been mobilised as several villas are under threat. Four Canadair aircraft have also been deployed to tackle the blaze. The fire has been extinguished; 4 to 5 hectares have been burnt!   Photo by PSM
