This Saturday, in the French championship final, the Pyrénées-Orientales Fire Brigade rugby team won on penalties against their counterparts from the Var Fire and Rescue Service. It was a prestigious victory for the Catalan firefighters, as they played on home turf in Canet-en-Roussillon, in Catalan country.
