Créteil (94): Fatal accident involving the police

On Wednesday evening, an unmarked vehicle belonging to the Intelligence Directorate of the Paris Police Prefecture and two scooters were involved in a road accident in Créteil, near Henri-Mondor Hospital. A man in his fifties who was riding one of the scooters did not survive the force of the impact. According to initial reports, the police were responding to an emergency call and had their flashing lights on and sirens sounding as they crossed the junction. The Judicial Accident Investigation Service is leading the inquiry.
