Indre-et-Loire (37): A sixth-former loses his driving licence; the police take him to his A-level exam
A sixth-former was stopped for speeding by officers from the Monnaie motorised patrol whilst on his way to a A-level exam.
Caught driving at 125 km/h instead of the 80 km/h speed limit, his driving licence was confiscated. However, the police were understanding when the young man explained that he would not make it to the exam centre on time.
The police then drove the teenager to his exam.
The student’s parents sent a letter of thanks to the police.
