Major fire reported in the area; strong winds – significant resources have been deployed! The fire was extinguished in the evening; 6 hectares were burnt, along with 1 shed. Update at 5.50 pm: 4 hectares have already been burnt; around a hundred firefighters have been mobilised. Four aerial water drops have already been carried out. Update at 5.30 pm: 3 hectares burnt, several more under threat; reinforcements are expected. Update at 5.20 pm: nearly 80 firefighters have been mobilised; 1 to 2 hectares have already been burnt. The firefighters have received reinforcements in the form of two Air Tractors.
