A fire has been reported near the town of Aix-en-Provence, in the Bouches-du-Rhône department (13). The fire is believed to be near the railway station and the RD9 departmental road has been closed to traffic, according to a police source. One GIFF unit is currently deployed at the scene to prevent the flames from spreading. Update at 01:50: The fire is believed to be in the town of Vitrolles; it is now under control, with 3,000 m² of vegetation burnt. For your safety, please avoid the area.
