Olmeta-di-Tuda (2B)

A fierce pine forest fire is currently raging near the town of Olmeta-di-Tuda in the Haute-Corse department (2B). Numerous ground and aerial resources have been mobilised to combat the rapid spread of the flames. For your safety, please avoid the area.   UPDATE 8.00 pm: The fire is still out of control and has already consumed nearly 950 hectares of vegetation. Part of the town of Biguglia has been evacuated, according to the ‘Corse événement’ Facebook page.
