La Croix-Valmer (83)

A new pine forest fire has been burning since 9.00 pm near the town of La Croix-Valmer, in the Var department (83), in the Cap Lardier area. A total of more than 500 hectares of vegetation have now been burnt. Ground resources remain deployed to tackle this fierce fire and prevent the rapid spread of the flames, particularly due to strong winds in the area. Please note that the fire near Ramatuelle is now under control but has not yet been fully extinguished by the fire service. For your safety, please avoid the area.
