Beaucaire (30)

A fire has been reported near the town of Beaucaire (30) in the Gard department, in the area known as Pauvre Ménage. Four GIFF aircraft and three Canadair aircraft are reportedly currently operating in the area of this scrub fire to combat the rapid spread of the flames. Update: At 6.00 pm, 12 ha affected, 7 ha burnt, 1 vehicle destroyed by the flames. 33 fire engines, 116 firefighters and 4 Canadair aircraft have carried out 27 water drops. Update: This morning at 8.00 am, 30 hectares affected and 5 GIFF aircraft still on site. Fires under observation!
