A deranged man attacked several people in Marseille on Saturday morning at around 7 am. The man was subdued by municipal police officers and taken to hospital, according to a report from our colleagues at LePoint.fr.
The man attacked several people with a knife in the centre of Marseille. According to initial reports, he is believed to be a person under psychiatric care. The perpetrator was apprehended by the municipal police using a stun gun and was then taken to La Timone Hospital.
According to the same source, a 55-year-old man sustained injuries to his ear and head. Two other victims also came forward, claiming to have been attacked with a knife – one to the carotid artery and the other to the shoulder blade.
