Collias (30)

A fire has been reported near the village of Collias (30), in the hamlet of Roulet close to the River Gardon, in the Gard department. For your safety, please avoid the area. At present, numerous ground resources (25 CCF/110 SP) and aerial resources (13 aircraft, including Canadair, Tracker and Dash) are on the scene. Also present are a detachment from the UIISC and the civil protection helicopter. The fire has spread across 30 hectares but has been contained. A total of 140 firefighters are on the scene, including 7 GIFF units from SDIS 30. The aerial resources comprised 7 Canadair aircraft, 2 Dash aircraft and 4 Tracker aircraft. The housing estate has been protected; nine walkers were trapped on the banks of the Gardon but have been brought to safety. The RD 12 remains closed. Photo by Jérémy G.
