A major fire is currently burning near the town of Grabels in the Hérault department.
For your safety, please avoid the area!
The fire that broke out earlier (4.00 pm) in Combaillaux has now spread to Grabels.
150 people have been evacuated!
Significant resources have been deployed: 8 GIFFs, 10 FPTs, 5 ForSaps, 4 Canadairs, 3 Air Tractors, 1 helicopter and 1 medical team.

21:36: Fire contained; 60 hectares burnt and 30 homes evacuated in the municipalities of Grabels and Combaillaux. 250 firefighters and 70 gendarmes mobilised.
21:59: 80 hectares burnt; a few flare-ups detected.
The fire is now out following flare-ups dealt with overnight by 100 firefighters: SDIS 34, SDIS 12 and SDIS 48.
