Ardennes: a gendarme seriously injured during a training exercise

At around 4.30 pm on Thursday, a member of the Gendarmerie’s specialist protection platoon fell during an exercise at a nuclear power station. The accident took place in Chooz in the Ardennes; the 35-year-old gendarme fell about ten metres and was airlifted to the hospital in Liège (Belgium), where his condition is critical. The Ardennes Gendarmerie has launched an investigation.
