To mark its 60th anniversary, the Civil Protection Helicopter Group organised an open day at its helicopter maintenance centre on Saturday 21 October.
Throughout the day, there was a series of aerial and ground demonstrations by the fire service, civil protection military units, civil protection water-bombing aircraft, and helicopters from the gendarmerie, the Royal Navy, Customs and civil protection.
