Nice: the head of the municipal police had not passed the compulsory competitive examination for his post

The Marseille Administrative Court of Appeal ruled against the city of Nice on Monday 31 October. Since 2013, the local authority had employed a municipal police officer in the role and rank of “chief of the municipal police”, but he had not passed the competitive examination for the post of chief of police. The court annulled this officer’s municipal police recruitment examination.
