Six police officers from the Yvelines have been in police custody since Monday morning at the IGPN, the police watchdog, according to an exclusive report by our colleagues at the Parisian. According to our colleagues, "They were arrested in connection with a case involving money laundering and handling stolen goods. The police officers, who are constables, are suspected of tax fraud relating to the purchase of cars abroad and the resale of these vehicles in France. This trafficking scheme is believed to have been organised by a police officer on leave. He had set up a car garage which is believed to have served as a base for this trafficking, in which a number of police officers are said to be involved."
