Val d'Oise: Two firefighters suffer burns whilst on duty

During the night between Sunday and Monday, the Val d’Oise fire brigade was called out to a fire in a garage in Sannois. On arrival, the crew of the fire engine found that the garage was completely ablaze and that there was a risk of the fire spreading to a detached house. The attack team therefore quickly deployed a hose, but whilst extinguishing the fire, both firefighters were burned by falling debris. They were taken to Argenteuil Hospital; one of the firefighters suffered burns to his neck, whilst his colleague suffered burns to his arm.
