A firefighter from Gironde was treated by his colleagues after being violently assaulted by the man in his fifties whom he had come to rescue. A complaint is reported to have been filed. The incident took place on Sunday, Christmas Eve.
According to our colleagues at South-West, the man, who had fainted, attacked the firefighter by "delivering a violent headbutt to him for no reason".
