11.00 pm : The Paillon slip road is closed to traffic.
11.30 pm : Around twenty people were evacuated by the fire brigade, although the fire on the right flank has been contained.
The fire has now been extinguished; it spread across 4 hectares of vegetation. Ten houses were evacuated and 22 people were brought to safety. Reconnaissance operations were carried out first thing in the morning.
