Corsica: Two prison officers attacked by an inmate

On Friday morning, a radicalised prisoner attacked two prison officers with a knife on the premises of Borgo Prison (Corsica). He was being held in solitary confinement and lunged at the officers when they opened the cell door. One of the officers was seriously injured. He and his colleague were taken to hospital. The Bastia Criminal Investigation Department is leading the investigation.
