Pas-de-Calais: a fire safety officer admits to having started several fires

An employee of a fire safety and patient care service has admitted to being responsible for 17 fires on the premises of Calôt Hospital in Berck-sur-Mer. 119 people across 17 hospital buildings had to be evacuated. The arsonist is also a volunteer firefighter; he has been charged and will have to answer for his actions in the criminal court.
