Paris: electric vehicles for the police

Volkswagen has won the Paris Police Prefecture’s tender for the purchase of electric vehicles.

Thirteen electric Volkswagen Golfs were delivered a few days ago as part of the drive to start replacing the ageing fleet of internal combustion engine vehicles. The police are complying with the wishes of the Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, who is keen to reduce the number of internal combustion engine vehicles in the capital.
