Marne: a gendarme dies in a road accident

On Friday, a motorcyclist from the gendarmerie died in a road traffic accident late in the morning. The officer, from the Sézanne motorised brigade, and his colleague were struck by a vehicle which is believed to have taken the bend in the wrong direction. A paramedic who witnessed the accident came to their aid, but one of the motorcyclists succumbed to his injuries. The second gendarme sustained an arm injury.
