AUSTRALIA – On Sunday 18 March, a fire broke out in Tathra, Australia, as you can see in the video above. High temperatures and strong winds have fanned large bush and grass fires, according to the authorities, reducing dozens of homes to ashes and killing livestock.
Up to 70 homes have been damaged or destroyed in Tathra, a picturesque seaside village on the southern coast of New South Wales. Around 40,000 hectares have also been burnt in the south-west of the neighbouring state of Victoria, where dozens of fires raged over the weekend, killing cows and cattle.
