Germany: knife attack on a train

A man attacked several people with a knife on Wednesday evening inside a train at Flensburg station (Germany). Two police officers quickly arrived at the scene and were forced to use their firearms to subdue the attacker, who did not survive. According to German media reports, there are at least two people in critical condition. A female police officer is believed to be among the victims. A security cordon has been set up around the station. The federal police are leading the investigation.   More information to follow
