On Sunday afternoon, a volunteer assistant gendarme (GAV) arrested a man who was harassing a mother and her 10-year-old daughter, according to our colleagues at L'Essor, quoting Le Parisien.
Whilst on a platform at Gare du Nord station in Paris, the GAV spotted a man groping a female passenger and her 10-year-old daughter. The young soldier then intervened and, after ‘restraining’ the man, handed him over to the police, whom he had alerted in the meantime.
The suspect was taken into custody at the premises of the Île-de-France Cybercrime Unit (BRF).
