An explosion at a grain silo rocked the Port-du-Rhin district of Strasbourg (Bas-Rhin), injuring four people on Wednesday 6 June. The cause of the incident is as yet unknown. Around 70 firefighters were dispatched to the scene of the explosion, which caused a large plume of smoke and a fire, according to the prefecture. The fire in the 2,500 m² warehouse is still burning.
