According to the meteorological consultancy Agate Weather, Winds are set to pick up this Friday near the Rhône Valley. Indeed, on Friday afternoon, gusts are expected to reach between 70 km/h and 90 km/h across a large western half of the Bouches-du-Rhône, Vaucluse and Drôme departments.
The eastern part of the Gard and the Ardèche will also be affected by a strong mistral, with gusts often exceeding 50 km/h.
In the Roussillon region, the tramontane will also be blowing, with gusts reaching 70 km/h in the Aude and Pyrénées-Orientales departments, as well as in parts of western Hérault.
