Firefighters from SDIS 31 have just announced on their Facebook page that they are recruiting seven people aged between 18 and 25 for an eight-month period as part of the Civic Service scheme.
"Based at the headquarters in Colomiers or at the Southern Group in Estancarbon, their main tasks will be to raise awareness and provide information to the general public on risk prevention and to promote volunteering with the fire service" as stated by the SDIS 31 communications department on its Facebook page, before going on to explain that "The Civic Service is a voluntary commitment to serving the public good, open to anyone aged between 18 and 25 (30 for people with disabilities); there are no educational qualifications required – it is motivation alone that counts.".
If the start date is scheduled for 1 October, you can apply until 13 July.
