A look back at FINAT 2018 in the Dordogne!

The Dordogne Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (SDIS) and the Dordogne Departmental Firefighters’ Union (UDSP) organised this year’s National Final of the Firefighter Fitness Course and the National Athletics Championships. More than 1,200 competitors and accompanying persons Representatives from all the SDIS across France and the overseas territories were grouped by sporting region. 11 Zones The following regions will be represented: the West Indies – French Guiana, the North-East (GIRACAL), Burgundy – Franche-Comté, the North-West, Île-de-France – Centre, the Indian Ocean, the Far West (GUDSO), Rhône-Alpes – Auvergne, Mediterranean, South-West – Atlantic, Midi – Pyrénées. Various podium places were awarded at the end of the event, as well as a podium for records, including the rope-climbing speed (in “2s 78"A word to all enthusiasts… ), sprinting, middle-distance running, the famous fitness circuit and high jump. The podium for the team classification – all categories:

• 1: The GRAND OUEST region (39 points)
• 2: The FRANCILIENNE-CENTRE region (31 points)
• 3: The RHÔNE-ALPES-AUVERGNE region (30 points)
