Six months after Naomi Musenga’s death in Strasbourg, the public prosecutor has just announced that a judicial investigation is due to be opened into the operator of the 15 emergency call centre on charges of failing to assist a person in danger, as well as manslaughter.

Naomi Musenga, aged 22, died on 29 December in Strasbourg. She had called the emergency services to ask for help, but her call was not taken seriously. She was even mocked by the operator. The young woman, who was taken to hospital several hours later, died there, as reported by our colleagues at France Bleu.
