NEWS IN BRIEF. A few days ago, the leading organisation working to promote the use of social media in emergency management, VISOV -international volunteers providing virtual operational support- has signed an agreement with the crisis centre of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
"VISOV’s role will be to assist the crisis centre or, where appropriate, the Interministerial Victim Support Unit (CIAV), during crises in France or abroad, by monitoring social media, in order to provide the best possible support to citizens.
