The death toll is rising once again :

Significant damage to property :
According to the Ministry of Infrastructure, 3,366 buildings have been assessed, of which around a thousand have been classified as uninhabitable and 800 as severely damaged. Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Friday accepted “political responsibility” for the devastation caused by the fire – the deadliest the country has ever experienced – but made no concessions regarding the organisation of the relief effort, which has been criticised by the opposition.
