?? California ravaged by massive wildfires

Fires are spreading rapidly across California. A partial state of emergency has been declared and thousands of people have had to be evacuated. According to the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services, some 63,000 hectares have been burnt in the 14 fires currently burning across the state, and 12,000 firefighters were still deployed on Monday to tackle them.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJIYy9uc_8Q Since Thursday, six people have died in the fire and seven others are missing, according to the authorities. : A firefighter who was battling the Ferguson fire, near Yosemite National Park further south, died on Sunday. On Thursday, two firefighters were killed whilst battling the ‘Carr’ fire, and two children and their 70-year-old great-grandmother also perished when their mobile home was engulfed by flames. In total, 38,000 people have been evacuated in Shasta County due to what California Governor Jerry Brown has described as an “uncontrollable” blaze. On Saturday, President Donald Trump signed an executive order directing the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to provide support to the county authorities.
