Tuesday in Edmonton, north of London. Jessie, a yellow and blue parrot, had been perched on a roof for three days. Her owner and the animal welfare charity were unable to get her down. They therefore called in the London Fire Brigade. A firefighter climbed up a telescopic ladder to retrieve the bird, but it wasn’t particularly cooperative, as it started shouting “F*** off” several times before flying off to another roof, where it was eventually captured unharmed.
