Two firefighters from the Deux-Sèvres (79) Fire and Rescue Service were taken to hospital last night whilst responding to a house fire in La Crèche, near Niort.
According to reports from our colleagues at *La Nouvelle République*, a gas cylinder exploded, causing minor injuries. The fire has been brought under control.
According to the same source, the fire – the cause of which is not yet known – is believed to have started in the garage.
