Blue Gyros: Act 1 – Anger is mounting amongst police officers

Police officers are planning to gather outside the 8th arrondissement police station (near the Champs-Élysées) in Paris this Thursday, 20 December, at 9.30 pm. They wish to express their dissatisfaction at a lack of recognition and unpaid overtime as part of a non-political, non-unionised protest. The police are sharing updates on their activities on social media using the hashtag #LesGyrosBleus.
