In response to the fundraising campaign launched in support of the former boxer suspected of assaulting two police officers on Saturday, the president of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region has in turn launched a fundraising campaign for law enforcement officers injured during the ‘yellow vest’ protests.
On Tuesday, the fund raised over 100,000 euros in donations within a few hours. This fundraising campaign was launched on the Leetchi online platform in response to the one set up in support of former boxer Christophe Dettinger, who is suspected of having assaulted two police officers in Paris on Saturday.
