According to a report by Actu17, three police officers have taken their own lives using their service weapons in less than 24 hours.
On Tuesday, a 26-year-old police officer assigned to the BAC in L’Haÿ-les-Roses (94) took his own life at his home.
On Wednesday, a 37-year-old police officer assigned to the General Security Unit of the Île-de-France Regional Police Brigade and a CRS officer, who was also a local councillor in Pas-de-Calais (62), took their own lives.
Since the start of the year, seven police officers have taken their own lives.
