For several days now, shopkeepers in Gironde have been approached by fraudsters who have no qualms about posing as a firefighters’ association in order to sell advertising space in a so-called forthcoming calendar.
“There’s certainly no shortage of imagination among fraudsters,” say the police on their Facebook page, urging the public to be vigilant.
