Seven people died in a plane crash involving an Italian helicopter and a small French private aircraft on Friday in the Aosta Valley in Italy, according to the emergency services.
The wreckage of the aircraft was found on the Ruitor Glacier, where the accident took place. On Saturday morning, the rescue services announced on Twitter that they had resumed the search, in order to "two people".
According to initial reports, the accident took place in the late afternoon, before sunset. The weather was good, as was visibility. The helicopter was, in principle, carrying skiers whom it was due to drop off at the top of the glacier.
